First Prayers - Traditional music for Meditation

First Prayers is waking up early in the morning, long before the first streak of the sun warms the earth, and the cold air that blanketed the night to sleep abides. You take those steps leading to the church, not yet fully awake, but determined nonetheless to get there on time to hear the first hymn break the silence -- and so to commune with God in the eucharist. There is an affectionate bond with God so primordial it carries you in its embrace.

First Prayers is being alone anywhere and in the silence of your heart comes the spirit of God -- "delicate, gentle, and often delightful... like the way a drop of water penetrates a sponge." So much consolation.
